Oči za maskou

Tradiční kovově zlatá maska zakrývá většinu tváře, ale oči zůstávají odkryté – jasné, soustředěné a trochu zvědavé. Autorka zachycuje okamžik, kdy si dívka masku právě přidržuje, jako by se rozhodovala, zda ji nasadit, nebo naopak odložit. Obraz mluví o rovnováze mezi tradicí a osobní svobodou, mezi tím, co ukazujeme světu, a tím, co si necháváme pro sebe. A traditional golden mask covers most of the face, yet the eyes remain uncovered – bright, focused and slightly curious. The artist captures the moment when the girl is holding the mask, as if deciding whether to put it on or take it off. The painting speaks about the balance between tradition and personal freedom, between what we show to the world and what we keep inside.
